The year is 1998. I am 9 years old. I have just spent several precious hours of my tiny little life cutting my family members' heads out of my mother's favorite photos. I then glued said heads onto paper and created beautiful art all around them. This was my brilliant Mother's day gift. My mother was....not so impressed. How could she be so upset when I have just created literally the best art of all time? Because she was wise and she knew those photos held irreplaceable sentiment.
Sometimes PHOTOS are the most tangible memories we have left of people that we love.
They have this incredible ability to transport us back to a time, a place, and a feeling. They stir up something in our souls and make us FEEEEEEEL.

My name is Taryn but most people call me T.
My husband, Ev, and my three daughters make up my sweet little fam. We moved to the PNW and believe it to be the most magical place on earth (move over, Disneyland). If I'm not working you can find me practicing yoga, drinking iced coffee, playing boardgames, working on my billionth art project with my girlies, or painting yet another room in my house a bold color. I love practicing mindfulness and keeping things light & fun.

"What can I say except … best photography experience ever. Taryn is warm, puts you right at ease, has great ideas for poses and settings that make everything easy - and on top of all that, knows exactly when to click to get the BEST pictures. I usually hate pictures of myself and I’ve now worked with Taryn several times and thought “there is no way she’s getting any good shots of me from that” and every time she’s blown me away and made me look so good. I’d recommend a hundred times over. What a special, talented person."
