Photos that feel like art + my favorite little coastal town in Oregon

Neskowin Beach + Art

Photos that feel like art. This is my roman empire. When colors and textures combine in the dreamiest way… you get a photo that feels alive. A photo that you want to hang on your wall, even if you aren’t the subject of said photo. Sometimes it’s an epic landscape and sometimes it’s fun fashion. It can be unique composition or colors that jump out at you. Often you’re just connected to an image and you can’t explain why. However, this time it just happens to be a moody coastal evening with cotton candy skies that gave me that oh so in love feeling.

Ok in the spirit of full transparency: I am obsessed with the beach. Foggy freezing and grey? Yes please. Hot and sunny? Sure. Windy and rainy? Absolutely. Seriously, I’ll take time at the beach happily – no matter the weather. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and beautiful. My soul feels at home when I’m near water. Gimme all the beach days. Obviously this session was bound to become a favorite, just for the location alone. Add in an epic sunset and a couple that’s wildly in love…magnificent.

Where in Oregon is this located?

Neskowin Beach is insane. Although I’ve just discovered it this year it’s already my new favorite Coastal town in Oregon. While it’s small and peaceful it’s home to a cute little market that serves delicious coffee and pastries. Like… memorable pastries. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Homes are stunning and unique. The beach itself has long stretches of smooth sand, and pockets of beautiful beach grass. Not only do you get stunning views of the ocean, you also get towering pine trees and OMG I almost forgot to mention Proposal Rock! Move over, Haystack Rock! How sweet would it be to get engaged on a gorgeous beach next to a spot deemed “Proposal Rock”? This is where you get photos that feel like art.
